Treatment Overview
Gently lift and tighten features while increasing collagen production in your face with PDO Threads. PDO Threads can be performed for a variety of reasons ranging, but not limited to, wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring, lifting features, and tightening skin. Your service can be fully customized to your needs.
Before Your Procedure
Begin taking arnica three days prior to your treatment.
No drinking 24 hours before.
No non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Do not schedule any important events a few days after your appointment, as bruising may last up to 2 weeks.
On the Day of PDO Threads
Begin taking arnica three days prior to your treatment.
No drinking 24 hours before.
Do not schedule any important events after your appointment, as bruising may last up to 2 weeks.
The Following 2 Weeks
Do not remove bandages for 3 days.
Do not wear any makeup for one day following your appointment.
No working out for 3 days.
Following one month after, no facials, massages, or laser treatments close to your face.
Post-Treatment Care
Tightness and bruising is normal. Bruising may be more prominent on one side versus the other. Topical application of arnica or toothpaste on the affected area can reduce bruising and redness.
Swelling can last up from two weeks up until one month after procedure.
Having a slight headache after injections is normal. Tylenol is recommended over Motrin to relieve any discomfort.
If the end of a thread is showing do NOT pull on it. Immediately contact your provider to have the thread readjusted.
